Trex Seclusions fences feature a hidden aluminum bottom rail that supports interlocking pickets, heavy-duty posts, and a top rail that creates lasting privacy and a modern look.
Trex composite fence posts can be installed on their own or used as a sleeve for metal or wood posts. They're 5x5 posts available in 7-foot, 9-foot, and 12-foot lengths and can support winds up to 130 miles per hour. Trex fence posts are resistant to weather and wear.

The top rail of Trex fence systems is an extruded, one-piece composite component that fastens to posts and holds panels tightly in place for decades. They emulate a cap-and-trip design, and they can easily slide over the top of the pickets to secure them.
Moving onto the bottom of your Trex Seclusions fence, a sturdy, rust-protected aluminum rail secures the pickets in place. Its exceptional strength prevents warping or bowing. A Trex picket slides across the aluminum rail on each side to give your fence a seamless final look with no visible metal.
It's 5 ⅛ inches tall, 2 ¾ inches wide at the top, 1 ½ inches wide at the bottom, and 90 ½ inches long.
Trex Seclusions uses composite pickets that interlock tightly to form a full-privacy panel. Each picket resists fading, cracking, and insect damage. The interlocking design eliminates gaps for complete privacy and a uniform appearance on both sides of the fence.
The bottom rail is available in 67-inch and 91-inch lengths for 6-foot and 8-foot fences, respectively.
Glass-filled nylon Trex brackets screw directly into the posts and can be adjusted for the correct height.
Trex's glass-filled nylon brackets provide a strong connection between fence panels and posts. They ensure every section aligns cleanly for a polished look. Each set includes wood screws, with optional stainless steel available for added corrosion resistance in coastal or moisture-prone areas.
Finish off your fence with a post cap, designed to protect the inner sleeve while adding curb appeal. Choose from a pyramid or a flat cap to polish off your project. Trex post caps measure 6 ½ inches across and approximately 3 inches tall.
The wall mount/surface mount method is offered as a suggestion for securing a fence on top of a wall or concrete pad and is not part of the standard installation process. Wall mounts are not Trex products and are not covered under warranty. Engineering may be necessary to determine if wall mounts will perform properly for your application.

Trex Horizons fences use durable, horizontal composite panels with a black galvanized steel frame for strength, privacy, and contemporary curb appeal.
Available in 7-foot, 9-foot, and 12-foot designs, the Trex Horizons 5x5 posts offer a solid foundation for your horizontal composite fence. These posts can easily slide over metal or wood posts, and an alternative post is available in powder-coated black aluminum.

The Trex Horizons horizontal U-channel runs 92 inches long and is installed at both the top and bottom of the fence panel. These channels hold the interlocking pickets securely in place, keeping the panel aligned and preventing movement over time. By reinforcing the structure at both ends, the U-channel helps maintain a uniform appearance across every section.
The 14-gauge back rail of Trex Horizons fences measures 73 ½ or 93 inches long, depending on your design. It's 1 ½ inches wide and has a thickness of ¾ inch.
This rail rests along the back of the fence and connects the fence post, top, and bottom rail to form a strong framework for the pickets. One end of the back rail includes a built-in notch, which allows it to fit securely into place.
Each Trex Fencing SRF panel includes a steel vertical front rail that runs along the face of the panel, tying the horizontal boards together. This rail adds rigidity at the point where wind pressure and movement are most likely to occur, helping prevent bowing, sagging, and shifting over time. The result is a straighter, more uniform fence that holds its shape in changing weather and daily use.

At the top of Trex Horizons fences, you'll find a 16-gauge steel top rail bracket. It's 1 ¼ inches tall and 1 ⅓ inches wide. The U-shaped design attaches to the fence post, while the top rail slides over it to give your fence a polished finish and strong framework. All necessary screws are included to ensure a secure, reliable installation.

The composite top rail features a hidden aluminum insert for additional strength and stability. The rail measures 2 ½ inches high and 3 inches wide, capping each panel with a finished profile. The aluminum reinforcement inside helps prevent sagging over long sections and keeps the fence line straight over time.
The aluminum bottom rail supports the weight of the interlocking pickets and locks them securely in place. It measures 1 ½ inches tall and 2 inches wide, providing excellent rigidity and corrosion resistance. This rail design prevents bowing and keeps the bottom of the fence aligned, even on long runs.

Trex rail fences feature an open 2- to 4-rail design with routed composite posts and rails, offering low maintenance and clear views for open landscapes.

The top rail measures 91 ½ inches long and ties the entire panel together, creating a polished, finished appearance. It secures the pickets at the top with a steel insert while providing structural integrity. The durable Trex material withstands weather and maintains its straight, clean lines.
The middle rail, which measures 91 ½ inches, adds stability to each section by strengthening the span between posts and helping the rails maintain their straight, uniform shape over time. Trex's composite materials provide long-lasting durability with minimal maintenance.
The bottom rail anchors the fence and keeps the pickets aligned along the base. It provides stability while maintaining a clean, even line. Trex's weather-resistant material ensures it stays strong without warping, rotting, or fading.
A post cap helps keep water, debris, insects, and dirt from getting into the hollow post or sleeve, which can otherwise lead to moisture and debris buildup. Crown caps measure 5 ¼ across and are designed to sit securely on top of the post, shielding the opening while completing the fence's look.
